how it all started
My husband and I struggled with infertility before our first little miracle was born through IVF. The journey was mentally, physically, emotionally (and financially) exhausting.
After our son was born, all the focus was on him. (I mean, I get it. He's a cutie.) But when my sister-in-law first came to meet him, she gave me a basket of items that cared for me and my recovery.
Let's just say I was blown away. I remember being SO grateful (and tearing up - ohh, hormones). I thought, "WHY have I never done this for a Mama before?" I was always the one getting just another outfit for the baby.
During such a vulnerable time, when I felt I only existed to take care of someone else, my sister-in-law made me feel so seen and supported. And I wanted every woman to experience that feeling - no matter where she was on her journey of motherhood.

Every single product in our gift boxes is exclusively sourced from, or created in collaboration with, women-owned businesses, 94% being small businesses. our name
Well, I'm sure you've guessed it by now! Our firstborn's name is Brooks - and one of my favorite nicknames for him is Brooksy.
The name brooksybox symbolizes my journey with Brooks - from fertility treatments, to a high-risk pregnancy, a complicated delivery, and navigating my role as a first-time mama.
And now, brooksybox is my way of helping you give the women in your life what my sister-in-law gave me - the feeling of someone showing up for her when she needs you most.
